Synopsis:
Summer rains three times normal cover the Kalahari with dense grass and flowering plants too tall for meerkats to see over. First named sight of the Big Dune (the highest point in Whiskers territory). Blossom explores too far and gets lost. Mitch explores, but turns back, a little before he would have gotten within earshot of Blossom. A goshawk kills Blossom.
