A comedy series about the day-to-day trials and tribulations of a lower middle-class family living in suburban Chicago. Al Bundy, a frustrated and chauvinistic shoe salesman, is married to Peg, a lazy housewife who favors spandex and high heels. Their children are Kelly, a dimwitted, but attractive wannabe actress, and Bud, a libidinous college student. Living next door to the bickering Bundy household are their neighbors: Jefferson D'Arcy, a get-rich quick scammer, and his wife Marcy, a militant feminist and Barbiephile. Al often hangs out with his drinking buddies Ike, Griff and Bob who are members of Al's anti-feminist group NO MA'AM (National Organization of Men Against Amazonian Masterhood).
