Malice Aforethought

Synopsis:
1930s country doctor Edmund Bickleigh falls for the rich Madeleine Cranmere, but is saddled with an overbearing wife. He soon decides to murder his wife and start anew with his newest romantic endeavor, but when his plan is carried out, he has no choice but to keep his cool while furthering his ghastly activities in an attempt to keep a now-complicated life from unraveling.
