Remake of the series "The Love Boat," about the interaction of the ship's crew with the changing roster of passengers, bound for love and adventure. Newly divorced Captain Jim Kennedy decides to retire from the armed forces to take the helm of Princess Cruise Lines' Sun Princess and look after his rebellious 15-year-old son Danny. The crew includes: Chief Purser Will Sanders; Chief of Security Camille Hunter; Cruise Director Suzanne Zimmerman; Bar Manager Paolo Kaire; and Ship Physician Dr. John Morgan.
