Lost: Every Man For Himself

Desmond predicts the future yet again, when he tries to prepare for a thunderstorm. Sawyer attempts to escape his cage, but Ben outsmarts him and beats him unconscious. When Sawyer wakes up, he finds himself strapped to a table with people about to stick a needle in his heart. He is later told that they inserted a pacemaker in his heart that will make it explode if his heart rate goes above 140. He is also told that if he tells Kate, they'll put a pacemaker in her too. When Kate finds a way to escape, Sawyer dissuades her from doing it. Later, Sawyer realizes that he was conned, and we see flashbacks from his days of conning people in jail. Meanwhile, The Others return with Colleen, who was shot in the abdomen by Sun. Juliet asks Jack to help since she is not a surgeon, she's a fertility doctor. While helping, Jack notices x-rays on the wall of a forty year old man's with a deadly tumor on his spine. After Colleen dies, Jack asks Juliet who he is really there to save. Pickett, enraged and upset over Colleen's death, goes to Sawyer's cage and refuses to stop beating him up until Kate admits that she loves Sawyer. She says she does, but later tells Sawyer she only said that so Pickett would stop.
