Synopsis:
After the hatch implodes, Locke wakes up in the jungle, confused and unable to speak. In flashbacks, we learn about a betrayal in his past. He goes back to camp and builds a sweat lodge for himself, in hopes that he can figure out what to do next. While meditating in the sweat lodge Locke sees Boone, who tells him that someone is in danger and he is the only one that can save them. Locke realizes that he must save Mr. Eko from the polar bears. He is suddenly able to speak. He and Charlie head back into the jungle, where they run in to Hurley. While Hurley is on his way back to camp he finds Desmond, who is naked. After Hurley gives him a shirt to wear, Desmond tells Hurley not to worry about Sawyer, Jack and Kate because Locke said in his speech that he would go after them. However, Locke had made no such speech. Locke and Charlie save Eko and bring him back to camp. While back at camp, Locke comforts everyone with a speech about his plans to save their friends from The Others. Hurley, realizing Desmond predicted the future, stands there speechless.
