Lost: Exposé

A flashback reveals that Nikki was once an actress in Sydney, Australia on a show called "Expose." She slept with the director and then poisoned him for his diamonds with the help of her boyfriend Paulo. When the plane crashed, they couldn't find the bag with the diamonds. After weeks of searching, Paulo finds the diamonds, but doesn't tell Nikki. He hides them in the Pearl hatch, where he sees Ben and Juliet discussing Jack. Unfortunately, Paulo is careless and Nikki realizes he has been hiding the diamonds from her. She goes to Sawyer looking for a gun. When Sawyer won't give her one, Nikki decides to paralyze Paulo with one of the bugs that Arzt collected that leaves you looking dead for 8 hours. After letting him get bit, she grabs the diamonds, but then accidentally gets bit herself. She buries the diamonds, runs to where Hugo and Sawyer are playing ping pong, says "Paralyzed" and drops to the ground, looking dead. Hugo thinks she says "Paulo lies." They find a dead-looking Paulo in the woods. While trying to figure out how they might have died, Sun learns that it was Charlie and Sawyer who had dragged her into the woods, not the Others. Upset, she punches Sawyer. Sawyer finds the diamonds in the woods and eventually shows everyone else. They pour the diamonds on top of their bodies and unknowingly bury Nikki and Paulo alive.
