Newspaper reporters Lois Lane and Clark Kent, under the watchful eye of managing editor Perry White and aided by aspiring photographer Jimmy Olsen, cover the fast-breaking stories of Metropolis. The city is protected from villainy by its adoptive guardian, Superman, who is in fact Clark Kent, and with whom Lois is hopelessly in love. Clark and Lois have recently gotten married after a challenging courtship. Now that they are partners in and out of the office, they face a new wave of evil and colorful characters.
