Synopsis:
Rigaud, in possession of the box with Mrs. Clennam's secret papers arrives at her home to pay her a visit. Pet Meagles and Henry Gowan are married, and Arthur tells Amy he's upset about it. Mr. Pancks investigation reveals the Dorrit's wealth and Mr. Dorrit is freed. He hires Mrs. General to teach his daughters etiquette. Amy goes out of the country with her family. They meet Rigaud, who takes an interest in Amy. Amy has a hard time adjusting to the change in her financial situation. Meanwhile, Arthur focuses on work, but does maintain correspondence with Amy.
