Synopsis:
Amy Dorrit lives with her father William Dorrit in the Marshalsea Prison for Debt. Amy gets work as a seamstress for Mrs. Clennam. Mrs. Clennam's son Arthur returns home believing that his father had some secret and he isn't happy that Amy is in the house. Arthur investigates Amy, believing that she may have something to do with his father's secret. Arthur starts spending time with his old sweetheart. Arthur pays for Tip Dorrit's release from the Marshalsea and then hires help to continue his investigation.
