Law & Order: Family Friend

Following the death of a mob accountant, Detectives Fontanta and Green question a street thug who later turns out not guilty due to lack of evidence. When the real killer is murdered by an ex-cop and close friend of the victims, D.A McCoy faces difficulty. After being questioned in connection with the murder, in order to avoid prosecution, the corrupt officer threatens to expose evidence from dozens of cases that would free several convicted Killers.
