Synopsis:
Mia Lorimer claims she was raped to hide being abused by her husband, Brett Lorimer. Jonah and Linnie Malcolm, tenants of the couple in question, are aware of the abuse, but fail to come forward for fear of being evicted. With the help of Linnie, Detective Benson gets Mia to admit that she had been beaten by Brent, and sends her to a women's shelter. Brett is arrested and makes bail, only for Mia to return to her husband and drop all charges. Detective Benson hides in the stairway of the Lorimer home, when she comes across another case of spousal abuse and possible murder.
