A dramatic series depicting the lives and loves of a group of ambitious attorneys at a prestigious Los Angeles law firm. In the final season, the firm is joined by Eli Levinson and his assistant Denise Ianello, fresh from New York. Also Becker rallies for a fundamentalist Christian lawyer, Jane Halliday, to fill a vacant position and then asks her to take him to church after he is suspected of murder. McKenzie retires due to a life-threatening disease.
