Hank, his wife Peggy, their son Bobby, and Peggy's young niece Luanne, live in Arlen, Texas, a cookie-cutter suburban community. Hank often vents his politically incorrect views along with his three best friends Dale, Bill and Boomhauer, who worship the ground he walks on.
