Kim Zolciak To Wig Out On Her Housewives Spinoff

Bravo main man Andy Cohen has gone on record as saying that his network is likely done with adding new cities to the Housewives franchise, but this doesn’t mean that those familiar Botoxed faces are going to be leaving us any time soon. All hail the Housewives spinoffs!
The latest Housewife to join Bethenny Frankel as a Bravo solo act is Atlanta’s Kim Zolciak, she of the ridiculous wigs and comical singing ambitions. Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding will cover the run-up to Kim’s marriage to Kroy Biermann of the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons, which included a home purchase and an adjustment to a new baby. Their wedding took place last week on the allegedly magical date of 11/11/11.
“I am so excited to give an up close and personal look at the next chapter in my life,” said Kim in a statement, and she went on to prove that excitement with the liberal use of exclamation points: “My life has turned into a true Cinderella story and to watch the pieces unfold is going to be great! I can’t wait to share with all of you!” Well, OK then!
The press release announcing the series notes that the wedding had to be put together with only two months of prep (was 11/11 really that important to some people?), and that Kim’s own mother felt strongly enough about its wrongness that she chose not to attend. The usual bridezilla antics are teased, which in Kim’s case also means a heaping helping of cosmetic and semi-surgical enhancements.
Hey … wait a minute. A reality show? About a hastily arranged wedding? To a younger professional athlete? And the bride’s name is Kim?
This can’t end well.
