We thought we’d heard enough from the Gosselins in 2009, but Kate Gosselin is coming out strong in the new year — with new hair.

The famous mom of eight has ditched her spiky, asymmetrical ‘do — the hair that launched a thousand Halloween costumes — in favor of long, blond hair extensions. And she’s unveiled her new look on the cover of People magazine. That mag is definitely going downhill.

“I feel like this is a fresh start, a fresh me, a fresh life,” the newly single Gosselin tells People. “I am now Kate Clean Slate.”
