Maya Gallo, an out-of-work newswriter, reluctantly takes a job on the staff of her estranged father's fashion magazine, "Blush." Maya struggles to hold her own with her co-workers who include: Nina Van Horn, a pretentious ex-model who is the beauty and fashion editor; Elliott DiMauro, in-house fashion photographer and womanizer; and Dennis Finch, her father's power-crazy, right-hand man.
