Julie Chen Chases Co-Hosts Off The Talk?

Two voices that make up The Talk are not expected to return to the daytime talk show this fall, and The New York Post is blaming Julie Chen for the departures.
Page Six reports that Chen’s “queen bee attitude” has turned off at least two of her co-hosts, Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete, who will not return for a second season.
The show, which focuses on pop-culture and hot button issues with a family bent, has had a successful freshman year, drawing its largest audience in July since February. Of the five co-hosts, abrasive Remini has served as the resident loudmouth (and often a polarizing force), while Robinson Peete is smart and likeable, but usually gets lost in the shuffle.
If someone had to get the boot, we’re not super surprised it’s these two.
Co-host/creator Sara Gilbert and other co-hosts Sharon Osbourne and Julie Chen have been asked to return, although Osbourne has already announced that she will take a break from the show to spend more time with her family.
The Talk is the first network daytime talk show to successfully premiere in a decade, and has been sold in the U.K., Mexico, Canada and India. it originally began with six co-hosts. Marissa Jaret Winokur left in January.
The new season is set to premiere Sept. 6. No word on what the future might hold for Remini and Robinson Peete, or whether they will be replaced.
