Who knew a family reality show about raising 8 kids could cause so much drama offscreen?

Kate Gosselin of TLC's Jon & Kate Plus 8 is making the talk show rounds this week, responding to allegations of her husband's infidelity. Tabloids report that Jon Gosselin, father of Kate's 8 children, has been seeing a 23-year-old elementary school teacher for several months. (For the record, Jon maintains: "I am not guilty of cheating on my wife.)

Kate told Today's Merideth Vieira Thursday morning that she is taking the tabloid reports with a grain of salt, and that the couple continue to focus on their kids.

"We just need to weather this storm," she said, "just like all the other storms we've been through."

On Wednesday, Kate sat down with Rachael Ray and said she didn't see it coming, but that she and Jon will continue to move forward together. That show will air Tuesday.

Earlier in the week, Kate told Entertainment Weekly that the tabloid reports are "disturbing and unfortunate."

"Jon's poor judgment and irresponsible behavior has also without a doubt caused some added tension and stress between the two of us," she added.

Yikes! Kate's already famous for dressing down her husband at any opportunity. We can only imagine what's going on in that household now. And, more importantly, are there cameras around?
