Is Kate Gosselin having an affair? That's the latest round of tabloid rumors following reports of Jon Gosselin's alleged infidelity, a scandal which landed the Jon & Kate Plus 8 couple on magazine covers in recent weeks.
Now Kate is fighting reports that she cheated on Jon, father of her eight children, with her bodyguard. "The allegations ... are disgusting, unthinkable, unfathomable, and I am horrified," she tells People magazine. "The scary thing for me is [the tabloids] are going to take information and create a story."
Neighbors of the Pennsylvania family have told tabloids that the pair have been separated for months, and that Jon lives above the garage. Still, they appear together as a happily married -- if sometimes cranky -- couple on Jon & Kate, which premieres its fifth season May 25 on TLC.
Jon continues to deny he has been having a three-month affair with a 23-year-old elementary school teacher, despite photographs and video that might suggest otherwise.
