Synopsis:
The residents of the St. Gregory's Island, eight miles off France's coast, must deal with the growing threat of Nazi occupation. In the midst of such tension, James and Felicity Dorr find their marriage at risk, Cassie Mahy worries about the fate of her unwed daughters, and the Jonas family face rebellion within their own household.
