Inspector Lewis, Series I: Whom the Gods Would Destroy

When a middle-aged Oxford graduate turns up dead near his run-down houseboat, Lewis and Hathaway investigate his death. The detectives discover that back in his undergraduate days, the victim was a member of a club with roots in the Greek myth of Dionysus and try to determine if this is connected to his death.
