Susan Stone, a once successful book editor, is on the verge of being fired and is on the outs with her family; she has lost all love for life. One day, after accidentally bumping her head, her sprightly "inner child" (Suzie), the incarnation of Susan herself at age 7, appears, determined to remind Susan of all the dreams, hopes and desires that she had as a child. Suzie helps Susan re-ignite her passion for life and work, and in the process, Susan rediscovers the magic of innocence and love. As she begins to open her heart, she allows herself to fall in love and reunite with those who ultimately mean the most to her.
