Iconoclasts

Set in a non-traditional, candid format, two well-known personalities play interviewer/interviewee in a series of documentary profiles. In the first season, Samuel Jackson interviews basketball hero, Bill Russell at his Seattle home as well as during a round of golf. Renee Zellweger interviews CNN correspondent Christiane Amanpour at New York's Ground Zero. Brian Grazer gets an interview with media mogul Sumner Redstone while on a fish-shopping-spree. Chef Mario Batali interviews REM frontman, Michael Stipe. The season concluded concludes with Paul Newman being interviewed by Robert Redford at the Westport Country Playhouse and Newman's own home in Westport, Connecticut.
