A comedy series following the adventures of Tim Taylor, the host of a TV home improvement series, and his family. His wife Jill goes back to school to pursue her Master's degree in psychology, while she and Tim continue to share domestic and parental duties, which includes raising three hormonally-charged adolescent sons, Brad, Randy and Mark. The Taylor's neighbor Wilson is eager to dispense advice to any member of the family who seeks it. Al, Tim's co-host on "Tool Time" is planning a wedding with this fiancee Ilene, while Heidi the "Tool Time" girl has both a baby and a new husband on the way.
