Synopsis:
When Peter's time traveling abilities suddenly manifest, Peter and Caitlin get thrown a year into the future, and learn first-hand just how deadly the mysterious virus striking people with abilities can be as all of New York is under quarantine with millions already dead. Elsewhere, to fend off the "nightmare man's" attack, Suresh, Matt, Nathan, Niki and Bob band together. Matt discovers he has the same abilities as his father and uses them to defeat him and save Molly. Despite Claire's best efforts to keep them apart, West learns that the man who kidnapped him as a child is her father and flees thinking she is working against him. Meanwhile, in feudal Japan, Hiro and Kensei's legendary journey takes a dramatic turn as they square off in a final battle with Hiro the seeming victor and Kensei apparently destroyed, but not before vowing to destroy everyone Hiro loves.
