Synopsis:
The contestants are introduced in this second season where one chef can win the ultimate prize- the coveted title of Executive Chef at the Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa in Las Vegas. The competition begins with each of the contestants making their signature dish. Giacomo wins the challenge. The contestants are then divided into their teams, this season the men comprise the Blue Team and the women comprise the Red Team. For the evening's dinner service, the chefs keep getting moved to different stations as Chef Ramsey is unhappy with their performance and ultimately he shuts down the kitchen. Polly takes over an hour to get four appetizers plated and out to the floor and ends up being the first to be eliminated.
