Hell's Kitchen (Fox): Day One

The twelve contestant chefs are introduced to both the sous chefs they will be working with and to Gordon Ramsey. They are tasked to make their signature dish and only two of the contestants come close to pleasing Ramsay. They are then divided into two teams, the Red and the Blue, and told that they will be serving a dinner to the Hell's Kitchen restaurant in a few hours. Neither team is able to pull off the challenge and Ramsay shuts the kitchen down with his signature shout "Shut it down!". The Red Team loses as the Blue Team was able to serve a few entrees. Dewberry has to pick the bottom two contestants and chooses Carolann and Big Mama. Carolann is eliminated because she was caught doing nothing during the dinner service when her team needed her.
