Synopsis:
A hostage situation at a local video arcade results in a sheriff and a teenage girl being shot by the perpetrator, who then turns the gun on himself. The gunman becomes a potential organ donor, but the parents of the wounded girl angrily object to his organs being used. Meanwhile at the hospital, one of the potential organ recipients chooses to share the liver he needs with another patient, but when the tables are turned, the other patient isn't quite as giving. And Nathaniel and Kate have their hands full as Kate must train a new coordinator and Thea continues to push for independence.
