Synopsis:
Dr. Nathaniel Grant is now chief of staff of St. Jude Regional Transplant Center. As Kate Armstrong waits for clearance to approve the harvesting of organs from a Jane Doe murder victim, she spends the day with her daughter, Thea, who is stressed out about an impending dance party. Nate refuses to perform a living donation for a son who wants to give his dying alcoholic father part of his liver. And a new doctor, Dr. Thomas Jonas, arrives to take Nate's old job, while Jessica becomes increasingly bothered by Nate's long hours. Simon faces his first solo patient.
