School is back in session pretty much everywhere, which means a second season of Greek, the show that made ABC Family safe for non-family viewing. This series' bet that there was a large enough gap between what we see on the typical teen soap, namely, everyone sleeps around and parties constantly, and the 7th Heaven approach of having all the characters obsess on their own virginities, turned out to be both relatively realistic and successful. Granted, it's focused on Greek life more than overall campus life, but it's enough for me that none of these people are Gossip Girl famous just yet.

Tonight's season premiere (9 PM) finds Casey (Spencer Grammer) dealing with multiple issues: the potential return of Frannie as a rival within the sorority and the fallout from Rebecca's spring break antics chief among them. Both of Casey's ex-boyfriends also factor in to the dramas in her life. On the male side of things, Calvin and Rusty try to hold their friendship together even as their respective frats become more irritated with each other. Ah, college life. The parts of it I remember I really miss.

Democratic National Convention: The major (that is, after 10 PM) portion of the night's action is devoted to the keynote address from Virginia Senate candidate Mark Warner, and a much-anticipated speech from Hillary Clinton.

America's Got Talent (NBC, 8 PM): The live portion of the show starts tonight: two hours divided roughly equally between decent acts and curiosities like Inndigo, the "singers" from Eastern Europe by way of your local strip club. And of course, there's that four-year-old girl who I'm already assuming is going to win. Just make it stop.

The Secret Life of the American Teenager (ABC Family, 8 PM): Amy spends some awkward time with her father; Ricky is seen in the company of yet another girl; Tom throws a party for himself.

Big Brother 10 (CBS, 9 PM): It's late enough in the season now where people in the house can be counted on to start going insane. Case in point is Head of Household Dan, who decided this was the right time to nominate one of his allies for eviction. I guess they had to do something to keep us involved now that the sex is over.

Eureka (SciFi, 9 PM): A renowned archaeologist comes to Eureka with the tomb of an Egyptian queen, and complications with a mummy naturally ensue when the tomb is opened. Rule #1 of sealed tombs: keep them sealed. It's not that hard, people!

Making the Band 4 (MTV, 9 PM): We haven't had a Diddy blowup in a while, and we've missed them. The big man shows his irritation tonight with solo prospect Donnie and Danity Kane's mannequin-like Aubrey.

Million Dollar Listing (Bravo, 10 PM): Josh tries to get a listing from an NBA star; Madison has trouble with an inspection; Josh wonders if there's a tactful way to get a listing from someone who has just died. I'm thinking probably not.

Real Sports With Bryant Gumbel (HBO), 10 PM): An update on baseball's Josh Hamilton, whose comeback from drug abuse continues to amaze. Also, tennis deals with a gambling scandal, and the people of a small Scottish town learn what life is like when they have something (space for a golf course) that Donald Trump wants.

Smash Lab (Discovery, 10 PM): The team tries out an idea that may be of particular interest to Billy Joel: creating a car that won't sink in water. Also, testing out ways to catch someone falling off a ship: another example of the common everyday issues this show deals with so well.

The Cleaner (A&E, 10 PM): An FBI agent asks for William's help in locating her partner, who went so far undercover on a drug case that he may have developed his own problem. William later learns that there could be more to the agents' relationship than meets the eye.

The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency (Oxygen, 10 PM): A new season begins with Janice picking up the pieces after the breakup with her business partner. She holds auditions for newbies, and then moves the entire business, including herself and her models, into a Hollywood Hills mansion. I like camp, but I'm not sure I like it quite enough to ever get this show.
