Synopsis:
Maya goes to New York to meet with a publisher about signing a book deal for her newest book, but soon finds that the publishers want her to compromise her creative ideals. Elswhere in New York, Joan has come to escape a heart-to-heart with William, only to learn that he's also in town, while Toni is in town to salvage her marriage to Todd. Meanwhile, Lynn heads for the Big Apple to find information about her father when she worries that she may be related to her new beau, Lenny.
