Synopsis:
Bender's attempts to become a chef are quickly rejected by the Planet Express crew so he turns to the chef that inspired him, Elzar, but he also rejects him. Bender soon befriends some space hobos, one of which is Helmut Spragel, formerly the world's greatest chef. Helmut teaches Bender how to cook and gives him a file that contains "the pure essence of flavor." Bender challenges Elzar to a showdown in the televised kitchen coliseum known as the "Iron Cook" show.
