Good news for Joshua Jackson fans -- Fox has renewed Fringe for a second season.

The fate of other Fox series, however, remains in the air until the network's official upfront presentation on May 18. Most notably, Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles is all but cancelled, although diehard fans continue to hold out hope. Joss Whedon's low-rated freshman series Dollhouse is also looking iffy.

Fringe, which stars Anna Torv and John Noble along with Jackson, will air its first season finale on May 12.
