Entourage is one of those series that you're pretty sure you aren't supposed to like, but still do. The complaints are valid: it has begun to repeat itself after five seasons; Adrian Grenier does not have enough charisma to be believable playing a major star; Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) is as useless on the show as he would be in a real entourage; and Hollywood satire is harder to pull off in this "everyone's an insider" era.

But there always seem to be enough R-rated antics, walk-ons from the glitterati, and rants from Ari Gold (Jeremy Piven) to keep people tuning in. Season six, which begins Sunday (HBO, 10:30 p.m.), finds Vince sniffing the top of the heap again, as he prepares to plug his role in Martin Scorsese's version of Gatsby. In Ari's world, assistant Lloyd (Rex Lee) is thinking about asking for a promotion. He certainly has the battle scars to merit one. Will Vince spend a season riding high while everyone else in America seems to be struggling? Time will tell.

Monday: Weeds (Showtime, 10 p.m.): Ironically, Alanis Morissette begins her guest stint this week, playing Nancy's obstetrician. And yes, I used the word ironically incorrectly there in honor of Morissette ... which is itself a display of irony. Also, Silas and Doug meet someone potentially helpful in their efforts to get their medical marijuana biz off the ground, and Shane has problems with his toking teacher.

Tuesday: 10 Things I Hate About You (ABC Family, 8 p.m.): The 1999 film best remembered today for kick-starting Heath Ledger's career is now a series. The show follows sisters who are opposites: Bianca yearns to fit in with the elite crowd, while Kat is more serious-minded. A big part of the appeal for adult viewers will be the always amusing Larry Miller, who plays the girls' father.

Wednesday: Top Chef Masters (Bravo, 10 p.m.): We make it a point here to highlight everything Neil Patrick Harris does, which is becoming quite a task. He pops by this week to help judge the big meal of the week. The four celebrity chefs are also called upon to cook an egg with one hand tied behind their backs.

Thursday: Big Brother 11 (CBS, 8 p.m.): Has it been eleven seasons already? Julie Chen is pregnant, but I don't think that qualifies as this summer's "twist." The first episode typically features a competition to determine the first head of household, and the beginnings of the cliques and flirtations that will carry us into September. Don't worry if you haven't remembered anyone's name after the first hour.

Friday: Eureka (Syfy, 9 p.m.): You don't know how much it pains me to call the channel "syfy." Seriously, who thought that was a good idea? The half-season premiere finds former sheriff Carter (Colin Ferguson) interviewing with the Department of Homeland Security, and the revelation that the new sheriff is a robot.

Saturday: Harper's Island (CBS, 9 p.m.): The final two hours of the series are being burned off in relative obscurity, but at least CBS decided to air every episode, something that has not always been the case with limited-run whodunits. For those who haven't already figured it out, we will get an answer to the question of who has been the wedding guest from hell.
