Drop Dead Diva: Crazy

Teri asks Jane about Brian Young and reminds Jane of her 15-year high school reunion. Grayson and Kim have an awkward encounter around the coffee station and resolve to discuss their kiss later. Luckily, they have to go deal with the case of Mia, a distressed bride who wants to sue her maid of honor. Grayson apologizes to Jane about kissing Kim at the office and tries to persuade him that it could have happened with any woman at the office. Parker preps Jane for her new client, Brandon Tharpe, a strange business owner whose board is squeezing him out based on his recent erratic behavior. Kim is fed up with Grayson’s hesitance and resolves to get the case in front of a judge. Stacy and Jane discuss the hotness of Brian Young. Kim attempts to prove the merits of the case to a judge and is given a small window to prove the damages to the former bride. Jane and Parker try to keep their client well-behaved in court but he ends up stripping off his borrowed suit. Grayson and Kim continue their debate over the value of a case built on emotional distress, but Kim keeps bringing in their personal lives. In court, Jane’s client continues his strange behavior, wearing bunny ears on the stand. At the office, the groom shows up and tries to get in touch with his wife but Kim shuts him down. After making some strong arguments, Jane is upset when Tharpe proposes to a witness in the middle of court. Tharpe turns the tables on Jane and wonders how she could have flatlined but not understand his new lease on life. After Stacy makes a few alterations to her dress, Jane tries to mingle at her reunion. Jane finds Brian Young, but finds out that he is (and was) gay. Kim and Mia discuss their mutual male problems. Jane tells Brian the truth about Deb’s soul being inside her, but Brian takes it the wrong way. Jane realizes how she can help her client: by letting him embrace his new self. Mia arrives early at the office and discusses the case with Kim. Despite Kim’s insistence on litigation, Mia realizes that she is still in love with her fiancé. Jane delivers her closing in bunny ears and Tharpe steps in and adds his own thoughts before collapsing. Jane talks to Tharpe about his medical condition and urges him to reconcile with his son. At the office, Jane learns that Tharpe left the company to his son, who will continue Tharpe’s mission. Grayson asks Kim out to dinner but she turns him down, hoping to rewind the clock to before they kissed. Jane takes a hot air balloon ride with Tharpe.
