Synopsis:
The Doctor and Rose visit the 1950's in an effort to glimpse Elvis Presley's first TV appearance but instead arrive in England rather than the U.S. There, they find that history is distorted when an unusual number of households have television sets. But the good Doctor soon discovers that these low-priced TV sets have been installed in homes not because of a local merchant's altruism, but because his actions are being controlled by an electrical entity that needs to feed on the souls of those who watch the telly; one of those people is Rose.
