Dexter: That Night, A Forest Grew

Dexter sends a manifesto to the task force to throw them off his trail, but Lundy figures out that that's exactly what he wants, and concludes that the killer has a law enforcement background. Deb breaks up with Gabe and tells Lundy she has feelings for him. Dexter gives Doakes false information about the blood spatter at a crime scene, causing Doakes to look incompetent to his superiors and also paranoid when he accuses Dexter of sabotage. Dexter's relationship with Lila intensifies, but he also realizes how much he misses Rita and her kids.
