Synopsis:
The neighborhood is shocked with news about Edie's attempted suicide. After making a recovery, she puts her plan into action to make Carlos stay with her. Gabrielle, expecting to leave her new marriage, is furious with Carlos's actions, but begins an affair with him. Lynette attempts to keep her cancer a secret while battling with the effects of chemotherapy. Bree and Orson struggle to keep up the charade of Bree's pregnancy. Susan, afraid that she is beginning menopause, is surprised to discover that she is pregnant. A family moves back to Wisteria Lane, after having been gone for many years.
