Synopsis:
Phyllis makes Bree out to be a suspect in Rex's death, causing Bree to send her packing. Bree must take a lie detector test to prove her innocence, and while it shows her to not be lying about being innocent of Rex's death, it shows she has deeper feelings for George than she suspected. She asks George to take a lie detector test as well, and although he did kill Rex, he somehow passes it. Betty's prisoner escapes, but she manages to subdue him. Susan is jealous of Edie's growing role in Julie's life, and tries to get Julie to perform with her instead of Edie in the church talent show. Gabrielle catches John having an affair with another older woman, and she finally apologizes to Carlos for cheating on him. Lynette's boss won't allow her to be at her son's first day of kindergarten, but clever Lynette finds a way around her.
