Synopsis:
Bree suffers from her mother-in-law's obnoxious style of grieving. What she doesn't know is that her own lack of exterior emotion is leading people to believe she was the one responsible for Rex's death. Lynette is appalled by Tom's housekeeping style, and uses a rat to help get Tom to clean the house properly. Susan is distressed to discover that Karl and Edie are a couple, while her own situation with Mike remains unresolved. Gabrielle manipulates Carlos' fear of his abusive cellmate to gain control of their bank account. Betty cons a psychiatrist to prescribe her sedatives that she uses on whoever is chained up in the basement.
