Synopsis:
Seven-part series exploring the concerns of American people as the country heads into the 21st century, and examining the men who lead the country. The first four programs profile a time of national anxiety and transition among Americans, exploring the fears of ordinary Americans -- for their jobs, their children, their security and their country. The final three programs probe the character and leadership qualifications of President Bill Clinton and Republican Presidential candidate Bob Dole, and the women who would accompany them in office, Hillary Rodham Clinton and Elizabeth Dole.
