Synopsis:
Dawson returns to Boston after spending the summer in Los Angeles working on a film set. Joey tries in vain to meet up with Dawson, until finally he surprises her with a birthday gift. Pacey and Audrey also return from a great summer in Los Angeles, bringing along Audrey's childhood friend, Jack Osbourne, to Boston with them. Jen learns her parents are separating, and that Grams is taking the same class as her. Meanwhile, Jack is nursing a breakup.
