Is Kim Kardashian coming back to Dancing With the Stars?

The Internet is buzzing with rumors that the ousted reality TV star may get a second chance after reports that Dancing contestant Misty May-Treanor was badly injured over the weekend. Details on the injury are sketchy, but it reportedly happened on Friday and may require surgery to repair. No word on whether the injury involved slicing her foot open on a glass coffee table.

If the rumors are true, the gold medal-winning athlete may have lost her shot at the disco ball trophy. Access Hollywood is reporting that she won't be back. Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian, whose tears are barely dry after her surprise elimination last week, would likely return to replace her.

ABC released a statement refuting reports that May-Treanor broke her ankle. Doctors are expected to reevaluate her condition today and determine whether she can dance tonight.

Meantime, Kardashian told E!'s Ryan Seacrest today that she's available to return to DWTS. And People.com reports that fellow DWTS contestant Brooke Burke told a radio station that May-Treanor hurt her Achilles tendon and is off the show.
