Frankly, I'm astounded that Cody Linley made it almost to the Dancing With the Stars finish line, but now that he's history (on the eve of his 19th birthday), I kind of miss the little nudnik.
He was so earnest, sometimes kind of inspired, in a cluelessly goofy way, and fate gave him such a raw deal: just when he was getting the hang of it, his dance partner Julianne Hough had to go get her ladyparts operated on (also her appendix, which is the surgery they chose to stress on the show).
At least he's got his whole life ahead of him, plus a dancercize-toned behind, which never hurts in Hollywood. Now the survivors will smile at each other while inwardly driven by a ruthless hunger not seen since the last days of the Donner Party.
