Let's take a moment for Kim Kardashian, fallen dancing queen. The poor girl was reportedly "inconsolable" after her surprise elimination from Dancing With the Stars last night, and had to be followed down the press line with a box of Kleenex proffered by her publicist.
"I just want to come back and have a few more outfits," Kim said before the results were announced on the show. "I'm not done with all this glitz and glam."
Kim was arguably one of Dancing's more famous personalities, and her early release was slightly shocking considering Rocco DiSpirito is still around. Who is voting for that guy? Diehard fans of The Restaurant? Anyway.
I feel kind of bad for Kim because yesterday was the 5-year anniversary of the death of her father, O.J. Simpson attorney Robert Kardashian. But I'm not really buying stepdad Bruce Jenner's explanation that Kim's DWTS downfall was due to her shyness. I don't think "shy" people star in reality shows and sex tapes, and hang out on red carpets with Paris Hilton. Just saying.
