Surprise! Dancing with the Stars' pros Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovskiy shocked fans by reportedly getting engaged over the New Year holiday. Could Newlyweds: Karina and Maks be next?
The pair are apparently quick-stepping through their relationship, having dated only six months before Maksim popped the question with a Harry Winston ring. In November, Maksim participated in a dating competition on entertainment show The Insider. Karina, for her part, had her heart broken by former DWTS partner Mario Lopez in June after dating him two years.
Rebound much?
Both Karina, 30, and Maks, 28, are currently touring with Dancing With the Stars. They reportedly were engaged in between shows in Salt Lake City and Tulsa, Okla. Isn't it romantic?
Both are expected to return to Dancing with the Stars when it premieres March 9 on ABC.
