The ratings hit just crowned a seventh season winner, but ABC has already announced a premiere date for DWTS' next edition: March 9. Question: If American Idol and Dancing with the Stars are both on the air this spring, will everyone's heads explode? Discuss.

The rumors speculating about the new Dancing cast should be starting up any minute now. Melissa Joan Hart? Mark Consuelos? How about Chris Kirkpatrick for the obligatory *NSYNC appearance?
Expect competing celebrities -- and professional dancers, who are now C-List celebrities in their own right -- to be announced in February. Meantime, two-time winner Julianne Hough has announced she won't be back on the eighth edition of the show that made her famous, choosing to focus on her music instead.
