Dalziel and Pascoe: Under World

Colin Farr is on a quest to discover the truth about his father whose body has just been found at the bottom of a deserted mine shaft. Four years before, his father had been suspected of murdering a young girl before disappearing. Dalziel and Pascoe are called in to investigate, opening questions that the town hoped had been long forgotten. When another body is found in the mine shaft, Colin becomes a suspect. Pascoe's wife Elli, who knows Colin from an adult education class, vouches for his innocence and helps him evade capture. After several liaisons among the town's citizens are revealed, Colin discovers the truth about his father and extracts justice from the murderer at a terrible price.
