Yes, it was uncomfortable to watch. But more than 2 million viewers tuned on to The Daily Show Thursday night to see Jon Stewart grill Mad Money host Jim Cramer after a weeklong feud in which the TV personalities publicly traded barbs.

Cramer may have pounded a mound of dough this week on The Martha Stewart Show, pretending it was Stewart, but it was Stewart who landed the most punches -- verbally, of course -- when the two met on Stewart's home turf. Cramer mostly offered weak excuses and attempted apologies as Stewart hammered him for misleading the public on his financial show on CNBC.
